 Dubs
« Thread Started on Oct 14, 2007, 3:21pm »

Has anyone here watched anime dubs before like Naruto or Bleach or.. what?

Personally, I don't really like dubs. They don't really capture the real feeling of the character like they do in Japanese. Although, my exception being Fullmetal Alchemist/Hagane no Renkinjutsushi (sp?)

I really don't mid the dubs that much.. it just seems more cheesy than the subbed. xD

And you are correct with them not capturing the emotions in the voices. >.<

There is poetry in dispair and we sang with unrivaled beauty.
Bitter elegies of savagery and eloquence of blue and grey.
Strange, we ran down desperate streets and carved our names in the flesh of the city.
The sun had stagnated somewhere beyond the rim of the horizon and the darkness is a mystery of curves and lines.
Still, we lay under the emptiness and drifted slowly outward, and somewhere in the wilderness we found salvation,
Scratched into the earth like a message.
You said, "The cinders were falling like snow..."
